Yeah I saw it. I know. I know. But see, there was this kid at the sailing center where I was taking classes who kinda sorta looked like Taylor Lautner (i.e. cute in an underage way) so I kept calling him New Moon behind his back, and then you know, I was sick and I’d promised some friends I’d go with them, and really, I just needed a laugh.

New Moon did not deliver. That shit was painful to watch like 7th grade is painful to live through. This was like watching a guy ask his girlfriend to marry him via jumbotron at the Super Bowl and her say no (or, a guy ask a girl to marry him via jumbotron and her say yes, except he didn’t really ask her). Remember when people were pointing out how Britney Spears had bled into her pants that one time? And you were like, that’s…not right. She’s crazy, leave her alone. That was this movie. It was like going to a Supernatural convention and asking Dean from Gilmore Girls for an autograph, only he’s all like, on the show my name is Sam, but whatever, and all the other real Supernatural fans are all like, you’re an idiot and you feel bad about yourself because you just got dissed by fellow fans at Supernatural Con (this has not happened to me, but that guy is DEAN so suck it world).

Seriously, it was bad. I think I’m going to see it again on Wednesday.

Ok so. I have this thing for kids’ books. Especially series. Especially where it’s a kid (usually a guy which is totally not cool but you know, that’s how love goes) who discovers that he’s special and then has to save the world. Only, not to hate on Jesus, not feeling anything from the Bible. Not sure why. Anyway, long story short, I am super psyched about this movie, and super pissed that this turned out the way it did. I.e. shit.
